The Aries New Moon follows the Spring Equinox  by only 2 days, these two  great portal periods work together. At the Equinox, Venus conjunct Jupiter, Mars and Pluto form a Grand Trine in Earthsigns,  suggesting an easier time of dealing with economic matters. Comfort on the material plane maybe more favorably supported than you have been led to expect.

The Sabian symbol for 2  degrees of Aries is  “The cameo profile of a man,  in the outline of his country, the individual identifies with their  life,  culture, heritage and traditions. We must connect with our broader community interests  in order to interact  with the reality we create. Aries is ruled by Mars, whose present  retrograde course  will  go direct April 16^th. You may already notice that old issues which have caused  resentment are resolving. The path to forward momentum is clearing and payment for effort expended will be received soon. Mercury  advances on April 4th, no longer retrograde;  communication and interaction with electronic technology becomes more reliable.

The personal side of our multidimensional selves is reworked and edited this Spring as result of ALL the inner planets’ retrograde or apparent backwards movement occurring during this period.  Some experience this systematic  reorganization of personality as a cleansing, a re-ordering of priorities, even as an initiation. Mars and the Moon pair up in Virgo, it is an uneasy union. While Mars can be comfortable with the ordered precision  and attention to detail required by Virgo, the emotional nature of the Moon can find  irritation  with the  exactitude and pickiness which is also associated with the sign. (Mars is retrograde now and it’s not generally a good time to start any new ventures. If you must, be flexible because there may be changes ahead. )

Virgo’s deep urge to be “right” opposes  the Piscean sympathy and concern  of Sun, Neptune , Chiron and Pallas Athena. If you find yourself  feeling quarrelsome, detail driven  or fussy, remember our common bond as spiritual creatures. Let your inner rudder guide you back to intuition, mysticism, imagination and compassion . The boundaries and separation of physical reality can dissolve when we merge with spirit.
